These are some of the most common weight loss surgery procedures provided.
Vertical Sleeve
This procedure is done laparoscopically, inserting small instruments through multiple small incisions in the upper abdomen. During surgery, 80% of the stomach is removed, leaving a stomach about the size and shape of a banana.
Gastric Bypass
. During gastric bypass surgery, your physician makes changes to your stomach and small intestine to change the way they absorb and digest food. .
Mini Gastric Bypass
The main difference between a mini gastric bypass and a traditional one is that there is less intestinal rerouting. Just like the traditional gastric bypass, the mini gastric bypass creates a pouch.

Surgery is usually one to two hours. We will ask our patients to stay 3 to 4 nights.
